DiBattista Earns Two More Honors

Drew Field Hockey player, Nicole DiBattista, closed out her stellar career with a pair of All-Region honors.  The senior was named to the NFHCA All-Region Second Team and the ECAC Regional All-Star Second Team.  This is the second time that DiBattista has earned Regional All-American honors during her career.

Nicole DiBattista earned her second First Team All-Landmark selection following another outstanding season in midfield for the Rangers in 2009-10.  The senior was the Landmark's top scoring midfielder and fifth overall with 30 points (1.67 per game).   She was tied for sixth in goals with 11 and third in assists with eight.  A true full-field player, DiBattista also ranked fifth in defensive saves with four.  She was the Rangers' best player in Landmark Conference games, leading the team and ranking in the LC's Top 10 in points, goals and assists.  The Newton, NJ native is the Landmark's All-Time leader in assists in conference play with nine.  In addition to her two First Team nods, DiBattista was a second team selection in '07 and she has been named to the NFHCA All-Region Second Team as well.

As a student, DiBattista is a three-time Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection and last season was named to the Landmark Conference All-Academic Team.  She was also awarded the NFHCA National Academic Award as a sophomore.
