Costa Selected to Academic All-District Team

Drew men’s soccer player Vincent Costa was selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Second Team. A senior biochemistry major, Costa earned the prestigious honor as voted on by the regions Sports Information Directors through CoSIDA. On the field, Costa is a midfielder and three year starter for the Rangers. He has played in over sixty five games and recorded five goals and five assists in his career. He has been named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll three times. Last year, he was named to an even higher honor as he was tabbed for the Landmark Conference All-Academic Team. Following the 2008-09 academic year, the Stony Point, NY native earned Drew’s prestigious Sherman “Doc” Plato Young Scholar Award.
