Eight Rangers were named to the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference All-Star Teams as announced by EWFC Commissioner Damion Jones on Monday.  The squad, consisting of 27 student-athletes, was selected based upon their performances at the second annual EWFC Individual Championships, which were held on February 17 at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Drew had five fencers earn first team honors and three named to the second team.  Foilist Amy Lester, who posted a 17-1 record at the EWFC Individual Championships, earned a first team nod and teammates Dina Attyeh and Virginia Cooper were tabbed for the second team in that weapon.  This year marks Lester's third EWFC All-Star honor.
Naomi Bocarsly (above, left) was named to the epee first team for the second straight season.  The Epee Fencer of the Year last season, Bocarlsy joined Allison Walters on the first team this season.  Walters earned second team honors last season.  Heidi Einholz was named to the epee second team. 
Alicia Rapp earned first team honors in sabre as she finished in second place with a 15-2 record.  Rapp earned second team honors last season.  Carlin MacNichol earned first team honors as well as the first-year placed fourth in the sabre standings.
