Women's Soccer Picked to Finish Third
MADISON, N.J. (August 16, 2010) - The Landmark Conference head coaches and sports information directors were polled earlier this week and Drew was predicted to finish third among the seven Landmark Conference teams.

The third place prediction is the highest Head Coach Christa Racine's squad has received since joining the Landmark Conference in 2007. The Rangers were the surprise of the conference just a season ago. Voted to place 5th in the preseason polls last year, Drew won four of its final five conference matches, while tying the other, to earn the number two seed in postseason tournament.

The Rangers will return a pair of all-conference juniors in Emily Weida (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster County Day) and Christine Meconi (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood). The two forwards accounted for 12 of the Rangers 35 goals last season and also dished out four assists. One the defensive end, Racine will also welcome back her starting goalie,
Kimberly Jaikisson (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia). Jakisson started all but three games in her freshman campaign while collecting four shutouts.

2010 Predicted Order of Finish:
1. Catholic (2009 Conference Champions)
2. Scranton
3. Drew
4. Moravian
5. Susquehanna
6. Juniata
7. Goucher
