Hunter Lathrop (South Londonderry, Vt./Stratton Mountain School) was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week today by the league office. The freshman was key in the sixth-straight Landmark Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Lathrop won the clinching match in a 5-4 victory of Scranton in the Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday. He and doubles partner
Matt Imbo (Islip, N.J./Islip) also claimed an 8-3 win in second doubles. In the conference semifinals he had a straight-set victory in number two singles against Cassian Utrie of Catholic.
The Rangers have now won the last 13 conference championships dating back their time in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Rangers qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history.
