HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 22, 2017) – The Drew University women's tennis team took a break from a busy match schedule on the spring break trip in Hilton Head, South Carolina to volunteer with a local Special Olympics club.
The Rangers joined a group of Special Olympics athletes on the court at Port Royal Racquet Club. There they conducted hitting drills, shared tips and tricks and played mini-games. The positive experience was certainly mutual as both groups shared contagious smiles throughout the session.
Drew was in the midst of going 3-0 at the Professional Tennis Registry Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head.
The Rangers return to action on Saturday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. for the beginning of Landmark Conference competition at Elizabethtown College.
