SAAC
Mission Statement:

The goal of the SAAC is to foster a better relationship between the Student Athletes and the rest of the Drew community. The SAAC will try to bridge the gaps between different groups and organizations by holding campus wide events in hopes to create more attendance and school spirit at both athletic events and other events on campus. Each year a new cause will be selected to fundraise for which will benefit Drew and its neighboring communities.

Strong S.A.A.C:

Our S.A.A.C consists of a five member executive board and over 30 other athletic representatives. Each team is required to have two representatives, but more are welcomed to join and participate. Representatives act as liaisons to their teams and help organize and participate in S.A.A.C events. Every S.A.A.C member is considered a leader and represents Drew University in a positive and respectful manner.

Fundraising:

The money from all events/fundraisers collected by the S.A.A.C is divided; some money going into our own account while majority of our proceeds go to an organization/ or child in need. Last year we donated our money to a young girl who was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. This year we are donating our funds to the Kyle Noonan Donor Drive. He is a 24 year old baseball player from Morristown New Jersey and was just diagnosed with Leukemia.
