I chose Drew because I wanted to be able to further my education while also continuing to play soccer at a competitive level.
Why did you choose your major and what has been your favorite course?
I chose to major in psychology because I was interested in gaining insight on the development of the mind and human behavior. The study of psychology has helped me expand my understanding of the world and recognize the diversity and significance of psychological functioning. My favorite course at Drew has been the study of Abnormal Psychology which examined the contemporary scientific study of mental disorders.

Being a student-athlete has helped me develop my organizational skills in order to efficiently handle the demands of my coursework as well as the demands of my sport.Ā
What is the most difficult part of your sport?
Off-season conditioning and staying on top of all of the responsibilities during a season when facing both academic and athleticĀ challenges.
Why do you wear your jersey number?
No reason, just like how it looks.
What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
If you haven't already, I recommend visiting Drew and getting to see as much of a student-athlete's daily experience as possible, from classes to practice to life in the dorms. It's important to get to know your teammates and form meaningful relationships with them outside of practices and games because those relationships will make for a more enjoyable and memorable college experience.Ā

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
There were countless times when I was younger that others committed their time and effort to provide a meaningful experience that I was fortunate enough to be a part of and benefit from. I think it's important for me to commit myself to the benefit of others in the community and help in whatever ways I can.
Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
I grew up in a challenging neighborhood. In order to be in the position to further my education and play my sport at this level I had to make sacrifices at different phases and remain dedicated.Ā
